Title: When was this car built from these tag pictures ?
Post by: 70 sublime on June 29, 2021, 08:41:04 PM
I dragged home a 1973 Plymouth Satellite last weekend
Looking at the tags on it just trying to figure out when it was built
Was it a very early car or one of the very last cars ?

I always thought they started building the next model of car the first week of August but when I saw the door tag and it said Aug 73 was not sure

the above 1973 Plymouth Sebring was "SCHEDULED" Friday 8/3/73 - FENDER TAG SPD * 803
it was completed Tuesday 8/7/73 during the 5 PM hour (near the end of production for the 1973 model year) - DOOR STICKER * 080717

there were less than 3,400 assigned VINs (at St. Louis) after your car & it appears 1973 production ended on Friday 8/10/73
