Yesterday I got the moulding off the rear window pretty easily, but what is the trick getting off the moulding around the vinyl top? It is so tight, I cant hardley get the tool behind it. The previous owner put a new top on but judging from the rest of the car, I dont trust what's behind it and I plan on blasting the whole car. Has anybody ever taken a vinyl top off without destroying it or stretching it out? I'm guessing this is near impossible but thought I'd ask.
look under in the trunk, some are nuts
3 speed nuts aliong the trim. Becarefull, nuts could be stuck and you can crack the studs ( don't ask how I know it LOL, not on a 2nd gen but similar on a 3rd gen piece ), is potmetal
