Got to add: Richard Petty and his Plymouth won 18 of 40 races he entered in 1970. Awesome.

I grew up with Dick Brook's nephew and remember listening to those races on the radio

cool footage. there are plenty of street cars at the end. i wonder if any of the people seen in the video still own their car 42 years later?

think ive  got this race on tape bought it from rare sports films , about 15 years ago ,  its the first visit to riverside in the 70 season i think ,  the footage i have is shot from the other side of the track to where this is taken , will have to did it tape out an look  :yesnod:

thought this was a good video  :Twocents:
,  although might not be for some , its over a hour long  ,  & the wing cars only come in to it at 47m.7s , & then only briefly ,
 but well worth watching IMO lots of good info & storys  from drivers / teams etc from the early 60s on wards
