Title: Fender bolts?
Post by: alfanta on September 20, 2007, 01:34:51 PM
Does anyone know where I can buy a new set of bolts for the fenders? I have taken my fenders off, and I will be painting them and detailing the engine bay, etc. and I really dont want to put the old rusty bolts back on. What are my options?

Thanks!

A kit for nine bucks. I'm sure its not concouse correct but you can't beat the price.

well, honestly Im not sure what Im going to do yet, I still have a while before i am at the reassembly stage, but I want to be ready for when that point comes. I did see that set on ebay, and I am actually looking more at the black phosphorous bolts that he has. I am probably going with satin black in the engine bay so those bolts would probably fit very well in there.

What about powdercoating bolts, Is that do-able?

Yes you can power coat almost any metal.

well i guess my question is not CAN they be done, but will the threads still be clean and tight enough to work.
