Title: Wd 40 in primer.
Post by: BrugeeRT on May 27, 2022, 09:52:02 PM
My trunk floor I had sprayed with epoxy primer and sanded.  I stupidly put a part temporarily on it that I had just wiped down with WD40, now there is a WD40 stain in the epoxy primer about 6 inches around.   I used wax and grease remover twice but when it dries you can still see the stain.  Do you think this will mess with paint or any ideas how to neutralize it?  Thank you.

Try "PRE" cleaner, made for wiping down before painting.  :scratchchin:
