:2thumbs: i bought one on ebay last month for 3250.00 pluss shipping have about 3500 in it :2thumbs:
Sounds like they are flexable on the price some
If a piece of American History is what you want, look no farther. This is an original aluminum rear wing from a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. This is NOT a fiberglass clone. The wing has been on the car in the picture since the early 1980's. There is however, no inside trunk support, but that shouldn't dissuade an interested buyer.
The price is negotiable, feel free to make an offer and we will tell you if it works!
If it comes with the 'master blaster' body and 'BIRDIE' VIn, then its a steal! :2thumbs:
If it was a $20,000 'golden nugget' would you leave it rotting in a field too, where anyone could steal it??? :shruggy: :shruggy: :shruggy:
That Birdie doesnt have a rear window plug...

LOL, flexible.
If they discounted it 50% you would still be getting raped.
Unless they consider a 85% or better discount they are going to have that wing for a long time.

By the time he answered the second he said someone bought it less than a minuete ago. Iknewi shouldge boughtit then asked him the questions. Oh well. Guess it wasn't meant to be mine.

I contacted the owner of that car and it's not an original bird. Roadrunner 383 air grabber with superbird wing. He said it was used to race and I think he said the equivalent of mini tubs from the 80's don't remember if he said roll cage or not but also has rust from sitting so many years there
Should have just listed the whole car and been done with it.
Free car with REAL Birdie wing and made a fortune! :2thumbs: :scratchchin: :shruggy:
We are fresh off the annual televised Barrett-Jackson value guide.
:popcrn:
Leaving that wing out in your property like that, they are lucky it hasn't been stolen over the years.

probably is listing it for somebody else because its not at that sellers house, or his place of business
It says, "Make Offer." If he gets a few "real" offers, he may figure out it's worth $3,250. :Twocents:
I can buy Tiny Lund's wing and decklid way cheaper than this wing. ;)
You know some site had a breakdown with the values of each part on a superbird or Daytona. So if you parted out your wingcar there was significant value from what I can remember If you have a real car or want to make a correct replica the value may not be so crazy.
Anybody know or remember this site?
Piece of American history, eh? He's got that thing priced like you're buying a pen used to sign the Declaration.
