Title: OIL sending unit

the wire that come off my fire wall has a male spade connector ...is this correct... because i think i have the wrong sending unit on my engine for the guage its a short little one where as i think its supposed to be the taller cylynder one ....anyone have a pic of one on a 440

roger the "taller cylinder"one is for cars with an oil pressure gauge.the short one your describing is for an oil light,it is simply an on and off switch.what year is your car???

The one on the right is the correct one and in the correct location.

The one on the left is for an aftermarket electric gauge that is a bit more accurate & faster responding than the old original one.

Dont tell anyone :devil:
