Title: Yellow bird in PA from 86
Post by: 1969chargerrtse on September 18, 2009, 09:02:28 PM
Found these old pictures from about 1986.  This was in PA, he was an Elvis impersonator at met at the time.  Notice the Charger also.  The guy liked Mopars.  Anyone remember this car?
Look at that smile when behind the wheel.

I bought my car in 86. I had been looking for a wingcar for several months. I had a white car lined up but the numbers were funny and it needed work. I havent see anything like it since but it was sporting a DAYTONA nose. :o I tried for many minutes to explain to my friends with me that the grill opening in the point of the nose was not right for a superbird.......they just didnt get it. :shruggy:

was the yellow car for sale? I didnt find any yellow ones for sale in PA. when I was hunting.

I think I got very lucky with my car as it turned out to be super solid only having some lower quarter work done along with some engine mods.

from the weekend I brought it home.

I don't remember it being for sale.  We just made friends and I ended up at his house for some odd reason?  Probably to see the Bird.
