You can read that? :eek2:
Area code is Tennessee.
The buyer I was thinking off was Barry K in PA Works for Mack Truck draftsman/designer and has and had several superbirds and daytona

I like the car, and the additional of the enclosed trailer, gotta be worth some good money on its own. Unfortunately I don't think he has a good chance of selling this, as we all know, ebayers will try to get it for as low as possible, so unlikely to even make the reserve.
That is a nice car for sure....... Hope he's doing it out of desire instead of necessity
I think that Ron decided he has not been using/enjoying the car as much as he thought he should be. He has had some nice cars through the years.

I got a peak at it last week...nice for sure and as mentioned for the price including the trailer I dont see why it wont sell/
I knew of Ron and his Daytona so many years ago but had no idea what he got into between the wing cars. :2thumbs:
I hope Ron gets a good number for it! :popcrn: he has some good docs and the original parts thrown in plus the trailer. :drool5:
:2thumbs: :2thumbs: for the rare rimblow :drool5: ;D
i like how people ask questions before reading the description, :brickwall: does it have the original nose and wing? duh , read the writeup. :eek2: i have seen this one at Carlisle, actually have some nice pics of it. The steering wheel is cool, something you don't see everyday in a wing car. :yesnod:
This one is out of a 70 Coronet.Dye it black and its ready for any superbird

Thanks guys for all the nice comments. I've met & developed great relationships from a lot of people associated with DSAC & Wing Warriors over the last 2 decades. They are class people & belong to a great organization. I will continue to be a member & follow the Wing Cars thru the years. I've enjoyed the hobby tremendously, but it is now time to pass the Bird on to a new owner who can enjoy it & improve it. My hopes are that the new owner will enjoy the hobby as much as i have. That being said, i sold the car last nite to a collector in Va. Beach , Va. He is NOT a investor & plans to nuture the car & enhance it. I've informed him of the clubs & he will contact you for membership shortly. This was a "bittersweet" sale, but with my loss of my wife last year, upcoming retirement, changes in interests, all have motivated me to pass the car along. I will follow the site, watch for new events & who knows maybe get back into the game again, ..... it happened before !!, Thanks Again, Ron .
Ron, sad to see you giving it up, but understand your position. Stay on the board and I bet we can convince you to buy another Wing car in the future. :2thumbs:
