Hi all - I'm going to be building a 440 for my car soon, and need to upgrade the driveline a little. It has an 8 1/4 rear in there right now. If a person goes aftermarket with a limited slip like https://www.summitracing.com/parts/aub-542072, does that take care of the 8 1/4's weakness (real or perceived) - or do you shred axles or something.
I'm in a pretty remote area, so i'm not sure i'll be able to find a bolt in 8 3/4 or even a early 70's c-body to swap in a 9.25, so i'm exploring all options....thanks in advance!
