Title: Positive terminal cover?
Post by: ChgrSteve67 on May 21, 2012, 12:45:57 AM
Looking for a solution to cover the positive battery terminal on my Charger.
Every now and then I end up brusing it with the dip stick when I check the oil.

Any know of something that will cover it and not look stupid?

Thanks

I took this off a car in a wrecking yard. it does the job.  Might give you some ideas.

Thanks Fred, that is definitely in the ball park of what I'm looking for.

I was thinking the same thing about taking a walk through the local "pick and pull" yard.

What did they charge you for it?

No charge  ChgrSteve67 .........The wrecking yard is my home away from home. I'm so well known there that they let me have the little stuff for free.
And an occasional sixpack of beer keeps them happy.

I bet some of the parts stores have some kind of universal cover for a few bucks.
