Hope it cools down quick.  I didn't realize it would be max wedge size.  This gets more interesting.   :2thumbs:

CDR - would you mind giving some more information about the stacks and other parts.  I am sure many on here know what they are, but I don't.  Thanks for posting.

They have been used on old school Race cars, but they were not streetable because they were mechanical injection . now with electronics they can be tuned for street driving.
here is some info

The mock up, this is going to take a lot of finesse just to bolt this up,raised port heads would be much better, but I will figure it out.

It is really interesting to see this come together.  So was the link you posted.  Thanks.  In reading through the link you posted about this set up is supposed to work well throughout the RPM range.  They argue because the individual runners create more direct flow paths.  I am looking forward to seeing how it performs.  It also looks like something out of this world.

Thanks for posting  :2thumbs:

Looks great!  :2thumbs:. Are you having any sort of scoop to direct air into the stacks? As it stands the air would cause quite a vacuum fighting against the inflow of at air high speed. Pushing tubes sideways through the air causes a vacuum at the entrance. On the street I guess it might not matter.....but every 100th counts at your level of racing!

Awesome!  Can't wait to see how it runs!

You know if you come up to Amarillo we aren't quite as warm and have less rain for the new stacks!  I could also get some great ride along footage  :coolgleamA:

Hope you are able to get it dialed in and back at the track soon!

Thanks guys, I had to think this one out, the throttle cable & transmission throttle pressure control cable, air filters, the ram tubes will be silver when done., will paint my brackets black.I have surgery tomorrow so progress will stop for awhile.

Been doing some tuning, if you EVER go with EFI get the Dash/tuner, hand held ECT,,,,, the one I need is only$ 800.00 YEEHAAAA :), I also had to shorten the ram tubes, it was VERY hard to drive & see LMBO,, I will now use the 3rd & 4th intake pulse for power, total runner is now 17" long.

How uniform do you think that is across all the ports?  Looking at the earlier pictures, it must be really close! Still not going to fit under your old hood is it?

What happened to the gold stacks???!!!

Looks cleaner with the shorter stacks  :2thumbs:  Will be easier to make some sort of hood scoop with them lower now too. Can't wait to see it all buttoned up and tuned.

I officially hate my hood now,a lot of hindsight AFTER the hole was cut, BUT I really had no choice. I'll get use to it maybe ,,,.to me it looks better without a hood.

Tuning is going ok, the Holley HP is really not the correct choice for a Hilborn set up even though that is what they sell with the injector assy, it only has 1 o2 sensor to tune the ECU, it really should have at LEAST a bank one & bank two base fuel map that the ecu runs on. when the engine heats up all those throttle blades move & changes the calibration, I hooked up my Innovate wideband through a channel on the Holley ecu so I can at least datalog both o2's side by side & can manually tune the right bank to match the left bank Holley ECU wideband. wide open throttle is not a problem, its all the very light throttle low rpm areas that are tough to tune with 8 throttles & one o2 LOL. it idles like a stock cam 440 hp, can run 1500 rpms in overdrive & lock up the converter,,,, smooth as glass. the Dominator Holley ECU has two o2 sensors but you can only pick left or right or average of the 2 sensors for the ECU to tune off of.
Doing some Data logging, its only 103deg, Love my A/C

Sounds great going down the highway!  Latest iteration isn't terrible imo.  The stacks have to have the clearance after all...If there was a flat, glass hood you could compare it.  Someone good with fiberglass could probably get your cowl back together pretty good.

This idea wouldn't look good imo, but would be unique...You could try to form some lexan to match the cowl's profile.  Just tapered on the sides and then a u-shaped connection piece on the top.  Would cover the top of the stacks and give you some visibility.  You could use dzus fasteners or something similar to pull it off for shows.

Working on TRYING to get the car ready for the Lone Star Mopar Fest in Baytown HRP, next weekend, I REALLY hope I can make it, bad health SUCKS.
Installed the Holley Dash That I got from Rich [fastman efi],, With the Indy single plane intake it had 4" vacuum in gear @ about 900 rpm, now @ 700,800 rpm it is about 9" with the Individual runner Hilborn EFI.

Most importantly....have you had it on the rollers to see how many extra ponies you are getting....which is the whole point after all. Assuming you had a dyno reading before the stacks to compare it to of course!

No dyno for me, track times & MPH , I had bad fuel problems last time out with a Holley HP 950 carb. ran 11.11 4050 lbs,,7.07 1/8

When you stomp on the gas the RPM face turns red
Does that not make it hard to read the red needle on the RPM or does turning red mean something and it goes away after it settles out ??

I had set the shift light low so I could test it without having to rev the engine to 6500 rpm sitting in the garage. it works :)

Very cool...Digital Dash has been on my wish list for the Duster.  Hope you get to take the Charger out and have some fun!  A few outfits have made dedicated instrument panels for the Digital Dash...I'm sure anything Chrysler related will be on the back burner, but might eventually come out.  I think I'd still use it as an aux unit for the Charger...factory styled dash is too nice, lol.
