So a bunch of use meet up to go to the Mecum show yesterday and I meet Jim (technically for the second time). He tells me how his dad gave him a 69 Daytona he bought new. Jim lives only 5 miles from me and will be seeing this gem in a few weeks. We walked to show together yesterday and he said the car has original paint, interior, numbers matching, 40k miles, 440 car in great condition. It's V2 in color. Jim said he was a part of the Wing Warriors YEARS ago and would be surprised that the car is registered. I'm trying to get him on this site......

He claims it doesn't get out of the garage much. He brought it to a few cruises this year out west. He lives in Huntley, IL.

No this is not him. Jim in IL has original paint on his car. I'll get pictures and details when I see him in a few weeks.
