alright, alot of questions to be asked, and only 1 place to get the answers..here. lol so here we go this is what i need. i have a 68 R/T its going to be painted silver, just as it was originally.
was the trunk painted the same color as the car?
where is the fender tag supposed to be located?
what color are the following parts painted, if at all:
1. Trunk latch
2. Door Striker? (dad wrote this)
3. Hinges - Door
4. Hood Latches

Trunk is same color. Fender tag is on left inner fender. Trunk Latch is cadmium I THINK. Door striker is also cadmium I THINK. Door hinges are body color and hood latches are as well.
This is by memory though so if there are some resto experts out there take their word over mine.

And by trunk latch, you mean the mechanism right? The portion on the lid itself I'm pretty sure is supposed to be body color.
