Actually...as of late, a lot of these cars are going overseas so I'd imagine Minnesota
could be considered local? :yesnod:

GEEEZ!
I see the nose to fender seam has been filled! that certainly must have bene a popular day 2 option back in the day. The car looks pretty clean, but I wonder how the rest of it looks under the repaint? I see some black paint on the trunk floor peeking out around the mat.

And yet it's still not sold? ::)
I spoke to the owner as I'm in the market for a wing car. Owner said it has been parked since 1985, and was repainted in 1979 after being hit in the nose. Ouch! Said not to waste each others time unless we are in the $100k area.
Done 4-Speed birds have recently traded in the high $120s. You'll have north of $150 in this one when it's done. Think I'll pass.

Just curious...where have you seen done 4spd cars sell in the $120's?

There was a nicely restored, EV2 4-speed matching #s bird that sold on ebay last fall for $124K. Another orange 4-speed was on ebay a couple months ago. Starting bid was $137K but no takers. Another local one sold for $128K in January. Nice driver. I looked at it but hesitated. Also, there were 3 440 autos at BJ sold in the low $100s in January. They are out there.
I'll be the first one to say that I do not understand current pricing.
The latest "American Collector Car" magazine had a 440+6 Superbird Selling at $ 200k at Leake in Oklahoma City Feb. 22-23, 2019.
Going to the Leake Web site it was a matching# ,Vit-C, auto on the column, 14" road wheels with "Road Hugger" tires, 48K on the clock, Black Bench, base dr. outside mirror, probably AM radio. Looks like it Hammered at $ 188K.
1 repaint-with questionable pass side rear sticker placement, cracked steering wheel, cracked at some seat seams, Vin tag showing silver on the #'s.
Obviously at least 2 people wanted it at near that price.
Did any Superbirds ever come with the N95 ecs California emissions? Curious if this one has it? LEON.

Yeah, I noticed all that, that's why I said it had some but not others. The some it has is the 3 nipple breather & appears to be a California emission Distributor? LEON.
All distributors on 1970 BB 2bbl and 4bbl wedge engines have that vacuum advance.
Mark Anton bought it today....
Do you know how much it went for?
Nice fine
No clue. :shruggy:
