I might be back into hunting for a Charger soon.
Many decent looking 2nd gens I saw online put a +35k $ hole in your bank account.
Is 25k just too low to find a street worthy '69 project nowadays? :scratchchin:

You'd have much better luck finding a driver '70 for that price. For some reason everyone thinks the '69 is worth gobs more.
I dont follow Chargers per say. But I would think you could get a decent driver 318 car for that, or at the very least close to it

Decent 318 drivers are not as common as they used to be. Most of them have gotten engine swaps & resto work by now.
You get a much better deal at $35k than $25k.

$35k was $25k five years ago
Almost unrestorable junk around here sells for 25K these days. Most nice drivers or restored cars are up to 60 to 80K. Real nice concours restorations are over 120K.

Yeah, I find it funny how that works ?
People will... and have no problem paying $25K for absolutely junk that is rusted into oblivion requiring complete restoration ? like another $80K in work ?

same crowd then can't figure out why people will
NOT sell a survivor R/T for $50K ? that is complete, runs perfectly with no issues, numbers matching and well maintained that is still in very fine original unmolested condition and rust free....
and then....
wonder WHERE all those mid-range priced examples went ? and WHY there seems to be NO mid-range market to shop within ?
Just say'in.....
as long as the price pressure on JUNK remains as high as it is..... don't expect to FIND... let be.... be able to purchase anything "decent" for
3X the junk price.
