Title: Roof rail weatherstripping. Is it different from 71-72 to 73-74?
Post by: AmadeusCharger500 on May 29, 2010, 01:54:29 PM
I'm restoring a 73se and a 74 charger. I ordered the roofrail weatherstripping from Yearone. It looks Nothing like the stuff on both of these 2 cars. Its got a nice 90 degree bend about foot and half from front mounting points and all the front retainer clips Do Not match whats on the car.  In fact both the 73 and 74 originals look very similar to my 71.  I double checked the packaging and shipping sheets. It says 73-74 charger se on the package. Did yearone send me the wrong stuff?
Totally bummed I wanted to work on it over the Holiday :'(

well 71/72s no matter the model never got 73/74 SE configuration with the 90ยบ shape to B pillar post since they never got pillar post... al 71/72s use the same 73/74 HARDTOPS/COUPES.

SEs just on 72s... 73/74 don't even use catwiskers on quarter glass.

doors are the same
