I used 1 3/4" DOM. The tube bender is a JD squared piece. really nice bender. The gussets were at my local metal supply, really make the cage look bad ass and adds alot more strength to the joints. Pretty much finished except for the door bars.

Got the drivers side door done. Welded in solid, and very ergonomic, everything on the door still fits and functions and still easy to get in and out. The passenger side will be the same but be pinned to make it easier to put the seats, passengers, ect.

As far as the motor, I'm brewing up a stroked wedge (I know, I should change my name to yeahitssupposedtohaveahemi!) but still not a 100% on that, still have a lot a work to do before I get there. I post something when I get there.

Thanks for all the encouragement, I'm just waiting for the pin joints from chris alstons chassis works and then I'll put the passenger side door bar in. I jumped the gun and painted it black already. I post some more pics when its all done.

Make sure that your crossbar is at least two inches below your shoulder. The harnesses should hold you down, not back.
But, you probably already know this.

All done! Finished up the passenger door bar, which is pinned, so people can still get in the back seat if the occasion arises. All painted too.

The pin joints are from chris alstons chassis works by the way. Very nice pieces that look really good.
