Title: 1968 B body pinchweld / windlace colors ?
Post by: gtx6970 on September 09, 2017, 02:41:56 PM
On a 1968 Charger. Was the rubber coated material on the forward edge of the rear 1/4 trim panel pearl white like the trim panel or just plain white ?

I call it pinchweld material. But I see Yearone calls it windlace

Think it is the same thing.  I expect it matches the color of the interior.  Comes in a bunch of colors. here's black.

Edit, maybe I missed the point of your post.  You want it to more closely match the trim panel than what's offered at Y1?

On a 1968 Charger, with a  white interior its  a pearl white.
Does this wind lace match the door trim panel OR  is it just plain white vinyl ?

The white version from Year one has been ordered.
But once its here do I need to paint it pearl white, or leave it and install it right out of the box as is.
