 :drool5: its being restored by curt lawson in minnesota     very rust free car frames and floor pans were great .

Yea definately a improvement of the original orange color than that rainbro fag looking paint job. hell even UGLY GREEN(pick one they are all ugly) looks better than that! :2thumbs:

curt has been making some progress on waynes superbird

   I dont know how wayne does it restoring three aero cars at once   :shruggy: :shruggy: :shruggy:   i would pull all my hair out .  

  It really is  vit. c  but looks tor red in this picture

 I was always thrilled that there werent more than a handful of green cars out there, :2thumbs: Now you cant throw a rock without hitting one. :eek2: I saw a sister to my car at the Nationals in '99 and that was the first time I saw another green with white decals no console 4spd car. :drool5:

I think by the time I get mine finished theyll be like belly buttons! :brickwall:

Who cares what MCG thinks? If they would stop sniffing around the Playboy Mansion long enough to have a decent magazine like they used to have, I might actually respect their opinion.

 :drool5:     wayne took a bunch of parts up to curt to finish up the car .

   Wayne said 
     I took my parts to Curt. He is wet sanding the Bird. He still needs to paint the hood , nose and deck lid .

I always do that when I store the car or show it.

it was a wild car in person , I couldnt take it myself if it was my car . But i know what you mean that some of the old wild paint jobs should be remembered/kept   .  The fussy dash and all the crazy switched and buttons in side where just over the top also

just needs to restore the talley and freshen the silver car and all the aeros will be complete .  He does also want to build a race bird clone at some point .  
Yes it seems like a very hard life for the retired postal worker   :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol: :nana:     But keeping all of them running and licensed insured can be a full time job .

if your talking about the Hpac show last year it was only a mile from his house so yes he had several cars there

Cool car... don't know how I missed this thread.  That was a popular car!  About what year was the crazy paint job first applied?  Did he at least save the bulge hood as a memento?

Yes he is building a superbird clone , will have a Race car paint scheme and i think i heard him say the hood is  going on this car .   It also has the cool air brushed RR on the wing .
