A couple of years ago, a friend (yes Greg, a friend) bought a used 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 and a few months later it was stolen from his driveway. He reported it to the cops and the next day they informed him it had been found. Turns out it was located because the truck had LoJack that he didn't even know it had.

I always thought the owner had to inform the LoJack recovery people but the cops can do it too.
