One of my all time favorite cars. I got to ride in it once ages ago when Jim let my Dad take it up to the auto parts store. They were
working on my Dad's Hemi Charger. Sure love those cloth seats !!!
Now that you mentioned auto parts store .You ever recall seeing Duane Wests of Duanes auto parts hemi daytona delivery car

Gray Bakerville! I remember reading all his articles in Hot Rod when i was a kid.
1st time i've ever seen white walls on a daytona! :o
The Duanes Parts Store Daytona was in Roger Gibson's shop undergoing a restoration and the last I heard (about a year or so ago) the owner had run out of money and was looking to sell with the catch that Roger had to finish the restoratin for the new owner. Anyone heard what happened?
The car is at Gibson's shop, but I can't say what (if anything) is happening on its restoration. Haven't asked about that recently. It is still owned by the same gent as of this afternoon... :P
I sold that owner some wingcar parts sometime back. And a friend helped out with some hemi parts.Good to hear it still is in the same hands.I like to see it get restored as it was with all the unique graphics.
