Tell me what u guys think!
This is the first mopar i ever built.
Only 5 pulls on the dyno and the valve springs would'nt let it rev over 5500 rpms
440 Source stroker kit
440 Source steath heads,not ported
Performer RPM Manifold
Comp hyd roller .549 lift
1.5:1 Roller Rockers
MSD ign
10.5:1 comp
Fast Fuel Injection

That looks like a very streetable build and should be a blast to drive :2thumbs:
Did you upgrade the valvesprings ?
Ron
Yes i put a little stiffer spring on.
For THOSE Heads, Camshaft and Intake that is very respectable  You'll really have FUN with that !
actually....
I am kind of surprised it didn't peak out earlier...Heads are doing better than to be expected ootb in my experience.
That's pretty impressive for non-ported Stealth heads... On a 512ci wedge engine, need more cylinder head work in it's future, maybe... good 1st Build
i would of liked to buzz it up a little higher, its sucks that i did'nt get
to see what it peaked out at.
Allthough the torque is pretty nice.

Be happy with it...it's GREAT !
No point revĂng it any higher, it will be a blast to drive just like that
It is pretty much "peaked" right there at the 5500.....the Torque starting to avalanche could be the Port going sonic,
or even more likely.....,
the "Hydraulic" portion of the Roller Lifter breaking down.... as they has a propensity to do around there....if the Lifter bores are not bushed in the Block to control Oil bleed at the Lifter with Hydraulic Roller cams.
Great numbers, was there any clearancing on the bottom end or did it "drop right in"?
I had to clearance around the pickup hole,Thats about it.
Looks like this is an older post..how is this engine holding up?
Looks like he was last active back in November of 2013, according to his profile. But you never know, he might pop up. :icon_smile_big:

Comp!!
I now see "Richmond" Engines in Surrey B.C. ?
GOOD SHOP ! :2thumbs:
Are you sure they didn't re-do the "Valve and Seat" work on those Stealth Heads ?
What I mean is.... NO Porting.... but re-done / Prep for Service seat work ?

I built the motor!!! All i did to the head's was clearance the push rod hole and ran a hone through the guide's
I only use his Dyno!!
Is there anything would do differently on this build?
Yep Paul,
Challenger340 agrees with me , if going haudralic roller , it's a must to bush lifter bores,
It also helps that they also extend travel length supported to lifter, helps with controlling the oil pressure top end
I probably would have gone for edelbrock s and at least port matched, and a clean up to chambers to smooth them out,
Also an increase to comp, better valve springs Paul ,
I found the beehive's a good spring , seat load and open pressure depends a lot on intended abuse
I'm waiting to see updates on challenger340's build on this , watch this one Paul for a lot of good information on this type of build ,
Nice work there 512!
5500 is safe as houses!!!
Don't think buzzing up strokers is the way to go?
I assume that's a 4.250 crank throw?
440's at 3.750 stroke is fine to 6500rpm,
'452' 400 motors love the revs all the way to 7000rpm...
Torque is more important in my BOOK!!! :2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:
