Title: 3 speed wiper wiring
Post by: frank1966 on January 12, 2017, 07:57:02 PM
Does the motor in the engine bay have a ground strap to one of the mounting bolt? Any pics of the wiring?

Does the wiper switch need a ground?

There is a brown wire that jumps 2 terminals on the switch. Is this necessary in order for the motor to work?

Is there a diagram for each of these wires and what they do including the washer switch?

Here's mine that I just removed to send off for a refurb unit. I've circled the ground strap that attaches to one of the mounting bolts. I don't have any info on your other questions.

I can't figure out the other terminals on the switch. My connector has the 4 wires going to the motor and a feed. That's 5 terminals I know.

Anybody know if there is a jumper brown wire that connects 2 terminals?
