Just ordered my Hughes cam after Bob K. had nothing for my build setup. (His recommended next pick.) Covid19 is still screwing with supply lines and such. My build is stock/mild and Hughes really only had a few sticks on the shelf.
I'm going to run through my build list ASAP despite not being in a hurry for the build out.
What about Crower?
I didn't contact any others. That whole cam lobe debate had me wanting Bob K.'s cam and he sent me to Hughes.
Bob K.'s cams are excellent, I would wait.
Well... on the numbers I think Crowers HDP271 and 282 are well suited for any big block with high CR... but that's just an opinion from a non expert on this deal just reading and based on expert opinions about several cams specs for some builds. I installed the HDP282 on my stroked 400
I wanna run 89oct non ethanol. My .060 over Sidewinder headed 440 should be okay.
I have the Crower 271 grind. It'll be a few weeks before I can fire it up for the first time but I will let you know if it lives or not!
Good luck!

Bob said no go anymore. Why he sent me packing.
