I think I am experiencing a starter heat soak problem. The car starts right up when cold, but after I drive around for 30 minutes or so and shut her down for 5 minutes and try to start it back it turns over real slow r-r-r-r! I have read that the Chevy guys use a Ford type solenoid and mount it on the firewall to get it away from the header heat. Can this be done on the Mopar starters? It's a new high torque Power Master starter. I have already used the heat shields and starter blankets. The header heat is just too much for it I'm thinking. Any suggestions?
