Title: engine measuring tools
Post by: Highbanked Hauler on January 31, 2018, 09:06:07 PM
What do I need for measuring tools for bore dia., possibly  head CC .. This is my 12:1 (verified by piston numbers) 060 over 440. IF I was told the truth this engine  was broken in and no more than 100 miles (not racing). I am a fair judge of people and I feel the back story I got was pretty ligit.  At THIS time my idea is to put in a set of pistons I saw recommended  by a few on here to get this engine street able because the most of the motoring public doesn't want to deal with  E-85.

For the bore diameter you need an inside micrometer.

To measure the head CC's you need a graduated flask or burette.
