I'd love to get the King's added to that.
thats a sweet bird and a 4 speed too. did you fall in luv with it or is it still going to auction. Rene
BK, VERY NICE. That is very cool. Love the car. That your Daytona on ebay too? Nice collection... You thinning the herd a bit?
Tom
I bought the Sixpack 4-speed Petty Blue car from Dave Konofsky first -- and while it was on the spit -- I found the B5 Sixpack 4-speed -- with the rarer options of 4-speed console and white buckets. So the Petty Blue became the Spec car and the B5 became the one I wanted for me. THen I ran across the Charger500/Daytona on eBay. At first I was going to restore it to a Charger 500 to sell and a Clontona or a 69 Coronet R/T convertible with the real Daytona stuff -- but there's a long line of stuff in line before this car (like my B5) and it might take 5-6 years before I got it back. My son and I have started another business with a third partner (www.diamondbackengines.com) and I really need to take some chips off the table for that (the new building is costing me about $250,000 -- and I need another $100,000 in startup costs).
So the short answer is this Petty Blue will be sold. The Clontona on eBay is mine -- and will be sold. I have a B5 Superbird that I'll keep.

Still a great looking car. Each time I see a picture of it, it looks better and better. I'm not much of a fan of the Superbirds, but your Petty car and Johns yellow Superbird are definately eye catchers.
That Petty blue bird came out beautiful,I would have a hard time parting with that one.
Well I won't give it away -- but I think I'm reasonable

I think your reasonable, but I just can' swing it now. I thought I would be able to, but no dice.
