Title: power steering pump identifaction?
Post by: 69chargeryeehaa on November 10, 2006, 06:18:45 PM
i have a leak on the powersteering pump high pressure hose, and i can't find which hose i need to get, i understand there is 2 types of pumps, the federal and the Saginaw pump, how do i know which one i have?

car is a 1969 charger with a 440, but originally a 318, so the pump could be from either, and the 440 is out of a 74 newyorker, so i'm lost here :icon_smile_angry:

any help/pics?

There were a couple of threads about this - one this past Summer.  I recall some decent pics.

Maybe a pic of yours might help speed up the process.
