Title: Tach Inoperable
Post by: 68HULK on April 13, 2019, 06:41:42 PM
So I have a new replacement tach with clock in my 68 and both quit working. Is there a fuse specific to the tach or could it be something else. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

no fuse for tach....gray wire goes to "-" side of coil, should have 12v switched power to other wire at rear of tach. Body of tach is grounded through dash mounting.

Some tachs will not work with some aftermarket ignition systems, I had to get a "tach adapter" to get mine to work with MSD system in my 70

The tack in both my 66's works fine with stock Chrysler electronic systems
