The Cannery Casino was sold so there is no events there. The new owners are not car guys. MATS has a back up plan. Soon to be announced. I'm going.

I hear LV speedway is going to be 4 lanes soon...   I am NOT a fan of 4 lane racing.

To be honest this show is going downhill. :rotz:

- They let Chevy and Ford guys in to participate the last few years (although not much impact to the Mopar side of it but still).
- Wind
- Swap meet area losing foot traffic and lazy wreck-less golf cart goers.
- Wind
- Barely any cars for sale in the car corral.
- Wind
- Billed as "Muscle Cars at the Strip" but still called "MATS". Wouldn't that be called "MCATS"? Hey look at 'em cats over there. :smilielol:
- Wind
- Too pricey vs the volume. $110.00 for one swap spot. WTF!
- Wind
- As 70sixpkrt mentioned the Cannery will not be the host casino/hotel anymore. Will the next (if any) establishment do as good of a job?
- Wind

But with all of the above listed I will still drag my butt out to this show.

The new host hotel is the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino at 206 N 3rd st. It's been 10 years since the last time I attended. Vegas is a great place to visit and and will be at the show, although the tickets prices really jumped since my last visit.

It's been a few years since I went (pre Chevy & Ford invites) but I am going this year. Heck Vegas can be a good time even if the show is not. Traveling from New England so hoping for a good time!

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has received their entry ticket yet? I'll be driving up from Phoenix on Thursday and looking forward to the show and staying downtown, going to be a great time.

Hope to see you there,
Steve

Update, the entry ticket can this past weekend, I'm looking so forward to the big weekend  :yesnod:
