How do you get pictures on the side - and how to post pictures? I am just not savvy to figure it out.

go to profile and then select Forum Profile Information "i have my own pic' and paste pic of your avatar in there. then click "change profile on bottom

Still can not get my pic to show up on the side. I put the URL= http://tinypic.com/view/?pic=95uglj and all I get is that box. Frustrating.
