it appears that the C500 that was forsale at vanguard , had the matching numbers motor in it :yesnod: although the picture RT posted looks more like the OEM stamping :scratchchin:

The first reason I did the Charger 500 Registry is to try to answer the question of how many there are out there.
This is the second reason, to have a place to document them so any shady business would become more obvious.
And taking a second look at the photos of it I'm noting two other things with this car:
1. It has a pristine fender tag.
2. The broadcast sheet has the grease pencil handwriting 'CG' unlike any other.

I think you should buy it and put it in your car. Obviously, the owner of the car this motor belongs to doesn't want it and it's really close to your car and it's an original 500 block. Next best thing. I tried to buy a block that was 57 numbers off of my A12 car and I got outbid. I wish I had got it.
