As a follow up to a previous post. I have tried google searches to find what Dodge dealers may have been in Central Indiana in late 1968- Feb 1969. I can't seem to find anywhere that has any kind of info on this. I know Palmer Dodge in Indianapolis and the dealer in New Castle but that is about it. I know many have been renamed since Chryslers financial troubles of the late 70s. Anyone have any info on where I might find this info?
Have you tried maxwedge.com dealership info from back in the day you type in state and town
This your 500
just off the top of my head, these come to mind
goodwin brothers -new castle
broadway sales - anderson
goeke - noblesville (larry b's former f6 daytona came from here)
andis - greenfield
farthing - rushville (my daytona came from here)
tom raper - richmond ( may have been just C-P, without dodge?)
palmer - indy
eastside (shadeland?) - indy
here's a 1968 or 1969 list of Dodge "SCAT PACK" dealers in Indiana
Awesome, ty so much for the info. The ad from Eastside is not mine. It seems very similar but mine is silver with red interior. I know Goeke is now Kahlo in Noblesville too. Going to start trying to contact some of these that still exist and see if they may have records of sales in early 69.
You could try checking your vin with both wing clubs for any back history owners or locations. Also Daniel Liebrant on fb runs a charger 500 registry.
A newspaper.com search with keyword. As 69 charger 500 a certain part of Indiana or a certain newspaper.Might find it's dealer or it's classified ad

Wayne P has a white C500 with a red stripe I believe...
And if recall correctly Tod lamensky in wisc had one also
Are there any VIN lists from these dealers? Im almost certain my 68 was sold new at Palmer Dodge.
I think Galen has 500 list you would have to submit necessary info to him
In Feb. 1969, East Side Dodge (Indy) had (4) Charger 500s available, including a Silver one.
This is probably your car!
Nice Jay I think you got it

Thanks Dave! I did see that the "White" one was the last to go.

You're very welcome!
They had sold one of the (4) by March, and were down to (2) in April.
By the way, you'll see in the one ad that the dealership was owned by Mr. & Mrs. Paul Rattermann. Not a very common name, so you may be able to track down a family member with more info, and possibly vintage memorabilia from the dealership.
I know of 2 other 500's that they sold at this dealership as well. One T5 SE with air, and a Q5 440 automatic car.
Great conclusion I had The right dealer. Thanks again Jay for digging deeper
