Title: Steering Column Supports
Post by: john108 on April 25, 2017, 04:38:40 PM
1968 Dodge Charger.
I have my steering column on a bench.
On the expanded metal around the column, there are 4 to 5 little spacers (how many)??
I believe they are called steering column support.
The parts list shows them in two places.
the first place refers to a CODE of 19-46-55.
The alphabetical listing shows 19-31-1 to 10.
I don't know which is right or how to get a part number to buy some.
49 years old, very brittle.
Do you know where they can be purchased?
Picture attached.
Thank you,
John

Not avail in the repop market
There use was to center the tube inside the column jacket prior to / during vehicle assy. Not required once the column is in the car

They disintegrate easily!
