I have been reading for a while. I have a Torred Superbird. It is a 440 4bb, 4spd. It has a white interior with console and buckets. My digital camera is broke so I can't post any pictures but I will have the car at Englishtown this weekend if anyone is there that would like to take pictures and post them that would be great.
Nascar Dave helped me find the car. I bought it in 1999. It needs to be restored but it is a driver.
I also have a 69 383 Dart GTS. I painted that car in 1998. I bought this car in 1984 and sold it in 1995 and bought it back in 1998.
Tom

So New Jersey isn't measured in miles. It is measured in exits. Interesting. :scratchchin:

Welcome. I wonder if your Bird is the one a friend of mine use to own. He sold it to a guy in Philly. :scratchchin:
I bought the car from Dominic. I think he was a business partner with Ron Penska.

Yeah, it's measured by either the Garden State Parkway (The Parkway) or the New Jersey Turnpike (The Turnpike). I was living off exit 14C on the TP for a while, but moved to 154 off the Parkway afterwards. Now I live in Long Island (aka Cut off from the rest of civilization).
I will be at ETown tomorrow. I will DEFINATELY have my camera tomorrow and will be taking a LOT of pics. All will be high quality pics and will be posted on my site. www.imageevent.com/thegoodz (http://www.imageevent.com/thegoodz) All pics are downloadabloe, just give me a shoutout for credit. :)
Hey 4spdwing ( Tom) I thought it might be you ! Did you finally restore that orange Bird ? That was a few years back !! I think I still had my Daytona then. Looking foward to seeing you & that car. I'll have my Lime-Light Bird there, but probably not til Sunday due to other committments, Ron. PS.: Dominic says hello
Hi Ron, No I never did restore the Bird. I did put another 440 in it last year. I have just been driving it. I have just about evrything I need for it but my friends keep telling me to leave it the way it is. It is a very fun car to drive. Tell Dominick I said Hi. Tom
Quoteleave it the way it is.
leave it the way it is. there more fun that way . :2thumbs:
I was a painter for 20 years so I was having a hard time wanting to leave it alone but I don't do that anymore. I was having trouble breathing. So now I will leave it. I may do the front seats because they are ripped. My friends call it my rain car. I hope someone can post some pictures this weekend. Tom
Welcome to the forum! Looking forward to seeing the pictures...
Allen

Ron, Thank you very much for taking the pics. It was nice meeting you and talking to you. Tom
Here is a pic of my 383 GTS. Tom
That's the kind of car that I like. A little weatherbeaten but solid. :2thumbs:
That's exactly what I've been looking for and they're getting a little hard to find.
