it is a driver or a show car ?
i search a driver charger 500 but in quebec it is impossible to find...
More pic of interior , trunk, engine bay ...
This is a driver now. Had some general maintenance work to do. I'll post some more pics later today. I've got only about 7 days left to get my house in order before I leave for Iraq for a year.
anyway your car is amazing and i am looking for a C500 in condition like your C500 !! It is hard to find a car like this in a condition like this... many 500 are show poodle or full resto project! Verry nice i am impatient to see more pic !

Ah man...
Couldn't have timed it right....... Now, not sure if you've been there, done that, but from someone's who's been there with the Air Force, keep your head down... Things seem to be better now than when I went........ God Speed.............

The wife and I was over in 06-08 at LSA Anaconda Balad. Thinks for all the support, couldn't do it without it.

That's where I was, '05 & '07.... The Air Force side with all those F-16's....... Weapons loader team chief......... I remember all the "In coming, In coming"... lol
If you're going back there, bet it is a LOT different now.....
I was on the Army side and I know all about that "IN COMING" thing.
Here is some more pics...
And some more...
And some more...
And actual miles....
Now that my friend is one hell of a start !!!!! Love the options, even the column shift is cool in my book. Love the bundo/filler which seems to be filling over the original R/T badge holes in the quarters......
thanks for the pics ! Your car is verry cool

Maybe it is just me, but I will bet there are a lot more people who want a XX car than people that have them! Myself included. I feel lucky to have a clone
I promised myself that I would own a XX car in my life time. My wife and JR made this happen. I'm gratefully for having the wife that I have and a friend like JR.

Congratulations to you on the 500 !! A lucky man indeed !! In your pictures you posted, it looks like it has a 22" radiator. Without A/C, I guess, the 500's did come with the 22" radiator unless ordered or made with the max cooling package. The car also looks to be R6 Red but the picture of the engine compartment shows the fender tag removed. Lighting can do funny things to pictures and my color blindness might be working here and it is a R4 colored car. Do you have it or the broadcast sheet or the tag put away as I am just wondering about the color. It looks like one of the best "survivor 500's" out there.
The car I believe was sold new in Washington State, or Oregon. It has a 22" core with only a two row. The car is a R-4, The engine bay was repainted in it life time, don't no when, but the outside is OEM paint to my knowledge. The fender tag is secured. No build sheet.

In pictures, it is hard for me to tell the color. Especially the reds with my colorblindness problem. Not totally colorblind and have the most trouble with "earth tones" rather than red and green. Anyway, really nice 500 and keep her rolling shiny side up !!!

Well that would sure explain the rear defogger! The high humidity and constant rain on the West sides of the State made them almost mandatory. My first car, a 69a did not have one and you pretty much just learned to drive without being able to see anywhere but forward.
Congrats on you new toy.
Very nice.Just curious,Are you planning to restore it down the road? I hope you keep it in original paint.Just my :Twocents:
I intend to keep it just as it is, for as long as I can. As they say it's only original once. :2thumbs:

I did too, on my '97 Denmark TDY working on an exercise with the Danish and German Air Force... Goose Bay was definitely in the middle of somewhere.. Beautiful mountains off to the horizon I believe...

Good afternoon Folks,
I have noticed that I haven't posted a picture of the 500 with it's stripe on it. Hard to believe just how much that it changed the look.
Also I just got a new laptop and windows 10.
So I'm learning how to post pictures all over again :brickwall:
Hope this works....
Curt

Looks great Curt !!! :2thumbs:
Hard to tell... V2 or R4?
Car looks good with or without stripe! Love the lines of that backlight. So did the Monogram photographer (seen here researching an upcoming Pro-Modeler kit 1998-ish).
We have a C-500 in the area (south east Wisconsin I think is its home) with no stripe. Apparently was taken off very early in life (possibly when sold new: I forget the story). Since it was iconic, no stripe put on after restoration.
So, are there any documented C-500's without the stripe from factory? Thanks.
