Title: Headlight wire routing
Post by: john108 on July 04, 2020, 01:28:08 AM
1968 Charger R/T
I started disassembly of my Charger much more than 10 years ago.
The picture shows the lighting wire harness sticking out through a hole in the radiator support framing.
It has the electrical wires for the lighting and the vacuum tubes for the headlight doors.
I don't remember if that hole is where it is supposed to go through or I put it there to keep it out of the way.
Is that where it belongs and how should it be routed from there.
A picture would help a lot.
Thank You
John

That's the hole that I remember where everything  routes but where it goes after there is a mystery.    I would have to look but a think there are some wire guides on the back side of the grill frame the lead the wires to the pass side headlight area.  Other than that I think things just hang loose.

Yes, that is the correct spot for the wires.  As green69rt said, it all mounts to clips on the grill support panel.

Thank you.
That is what I think I remember.
When I re-did my grill, I remember the tabs to hold the wires.
I will go check.
