Hi guys,
Want to set my trunk up as it should be, so I'm looking for a 14 x 6 steel wheel (down here in Australia).
Does anyone have a pic of one so I get the right one? Also a pic of date code? Should it be dated 69 or 70 given they were built very late 69.
Thanks Tom
I have the correct 14x6 steel wheel for your bird. Very nice wheel.....tire does not hold air. Date code of wheel is Jan 70. PM me if interested. Joe
what wheels are on your Superbird?
ROAD or 14" RALLYE wheels had 14x5.5" spares
I dont think any 1970 B body ever had a 14x6 spare wheel did it ?
According to Galen's break down of a Superbird Broadcast sheet, if you have "16" under "spare" you get a 14 X 5 1/2" wheel, "17" you get 14 X 6" and "28" you get a 15 X 7". WINGNUT

YES, on performance cars (Road Runner, Super Bee, Coronet R/T, Charger R/T, GTX) with the STANDARD hub caps or wheel covers & 14" tires
Thanks for the replies guys. I have 16 on broadcast sheet so i guess im looking for a 14 x 5.5 steel wheel.
Bird originally had 14" road wheels

Hi 440, 08 November 2020
We don't know if this will be of any help but here goes.
Our 68 Hemi RR and 69 6-PK SB both came with 15'' steel wheels. The RR wheels were painted a matching body color and had "dog dish" hubcaps.
The SB's wheels were painted black, no hubcaps and Chrome lug-nuts.
The wheels on the 68 RR are different than the 69 SB's. Don't know exactly what the difference is but the 68's are difficult to come by and are expensive when you can find them.
Hope this helps; if it doesn't, we'll refund your money as soon as your check clears.
Best Always,
