Title: 70 Charger 4 speed set up
Post by: 70 sublime on January 20, 2022, 11:19:13 AM
I am rounding up some parts and needed to get the little brace to weld on the driver frame rail to mount the pivot ball stud set up

I found the bracket to order then got looking at other bits

Came across the reverse lock out linkage for the 70 cars on Mega Parts

Any one bother hooking this up ?

Guess I still need to figure out a switch that requires the clutch pedal pushed in so the car can not start in gear if it was in gear ?

No need for a clutch switch, there isn't one in a '69. Use a '69 4 gear starter relay (that the case is solenoid ground) or just ground the NSS terminal on a typical auto trans solenoid. As for the "reverse to take the key out", just lock the column lever in place and call it a day.
