While driving around the Delaware Water Gap on Rt 46 NJ today I saw a badass ratty silver 68 Charger, and it made me wish that I was driving my Charger so that we could have pulled over and conversed about our cars. I occasionally see a single Charger at the non Mopar shows I attend, so it got me curious. Could this forum make a section with regional territory divisions? Basically make a board with a North NJ region thread, South NJ thread, North CA, etc. This could be a good way to meet fellow Charger owners in one's locality.
Good idea...we have this over on the Jeep forum..seems to work ok.
I think it is a great idea but unfortunately most people on here are too paranoid. They won't even add things like real pictures or details to their profile.

Agreed x2. Richf - we tried something like it before, virtually nobody would post their location on a map, for fellow members only. There is a paranoia about it, due to Russians, creditors, ex-wives, the FBI, enemies, scammers, robots, etc.
If it comes to pass, great, I'll post with folks in Northern California.
By the way I am in Sonora, California, if you are ever here let's meet up.
Thanks for the invite 68X426! And it's a shame that the map failed, Jeez, people could at least post what area they're in, we're not asking for an address! Then all the regional owners could meet up at some hot dog stand.
Katy, Texas locked & loaded :)

Yup
Heading over for a couple of hours, I'll give Oneofnone a call, see if he has time to run down to the diamond for a bit. A bunch of cars coming up from Toronto today as well. See you around noon!!!
Middle of nowhere in the Rocky Mountains on the southern border of British Columbia Canada and Montana.
It's as close to shop in Eureka Montana, as to drive to Cranbrook or Fernie B.C.
Far more common to see a Griz, Black Bear, Cougar, Wolf, than another Dodge Charger around these parts ? just say'in... one Big Business around here besides Logging is Guide Outfitting for Americans to fly in for Trophy/Griz and Elk Hunts, but the hunting/fishing season for locals can be pretty much whenever someone is hungry LOL ! (Deer/Elk).
Rifles are obviously just fine around here, and can be a very good idea to have with you "just in case" when in the bush ?
NOTE:
B.C. Gov't just put a moratorium on the "Trophy" Griz hunt, IMO, more just a political popularity move really to appease the City dwellers/voters/earth muffins where it's Politically Correct ?
It won't work....
because Griz are territorial, and as they breed the young-in Cubs when mature get pushed out by the elder dominant Boars/Sows to go find their own territory.... the Big Boar Griz will even kill/eat the young-in Cubs just get the Sow back into estrus to breed her again.
Long story short....
without a controlled harvest like the Trophy hunt, and with less and less area for Griz Cubs to establish new territory, the existing Alpine Territory gets saturated, and them Griz young-ins gotta go somewhere right ? or be killed/eaten by the established Griz in the Alpine Territory ?
and unfortunately,
we'll just end up having to shoot them down here in the valleys as they migrate trying to find new territories of their own ?
Griz are top predator....
and as they migrate they will Kill/Eat ANYTHING.... our dogs, cows, livestock, chicken coops.... and what do the city earth muffins want us to do ? Pose for "selfies" with an 8ft tall, hungry, and pissed off "winnie-the-pooh" ?
Apologies for the rant, just the way it is.

Last June, I was at the Cupertino DeAnza college show hosted by Mopar Alley. The Wife was with me and as we were looking at a nice Duster, a guy comes up to me and says..."You are...Kern Dog, right"?
I assumed the fight position because I know that I have angered as many people as I have entertained.
"JohhnyCharger" and his Wife introduced themselves and we talked for about 15 minutes. Nice couple. They have a Duster that the Wife owns that they are working on as well as his Charger.
I don't know how he recognized me through this small avatar picture. That guy should apply his skills to develop facial recognition software.
You've posted pictures of yourself on f.b.b.o. and Moparts in the past. Easy peasy.
Yeah, I suppose. I

As soon as I get my car up and running I look forward to meeting everyone. I'm hoping to have it drivable by christmas next year. I just got the engine out, sending it off to get rebuilt. Next is the trans. Then all new wire harness, trunk floor pan, gas tank, and fuel lines. After that it should be "drivable" to me.
I seen a guy here in town at the last local car meet. He drives a 69. Car was coming along nice but I couldn't find the owner anywhere. Hopefully I can catch him next time.

To be honest I've only ever met but 1 Charger owner in my life and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I was about 26 years old then and fresh off a new score with my 70 RT. It was far from perfect but I loved it and was proud of it. This 69 Charger RT owner I met at a cruise in picked my car apart. This guy was cocky and after hammering my car I had to listen how the 69,s were the best year and all of that BS. Well he had me pissed off so I finally told him yeah my car isn't perfect and if I wanted a car with a split grill and taxi cab seats I would have bought a Pontiac. That conversation ended quick. I love all of the second Chargers I just can't stand a M-fer coming off like that. Now that I'll have my car done next spring I might get out and go to Carlisle next year if I can get off from work.
there are dick heads in every walk of life you just found the charger one first .even on this forum there are one or two you just let it go and move on to some thing you enjoy . :shruggy:

I forgot to update this. I cannot get them to list all of them in alphabetical order. It only does half. It's weird. I need to do more research. But it let me add the names on each PIN on the map.

Thanks for trying Luke. It's not a big deal, I'm sure we can all manage. :2thumbs:
More important would be to get it pinned to the top of the discussion board for easy access.

Saint Inigoes. Maryland. 69 charger.
Because I am a manly man's man, most people are intimidated when they meet me. As such, I've learned that it's better if I keep a low profile.
If you happen to meet the manly mans man, take my advise, and don't leave him alone with your wives! My friend made that mistake, and it cost him 50 grand. Mr Slick took my friends wife for a ride in his Viper GTS,then she had to have one! No one really knows what really happened during that ride to this day! Lol
