Title: Clutch push rod and fork ?
Post by: Highbanked Hauler on September 03, 2021, 07:51:16 PM
Last year when I was putting the car together I put in a (rubber) stop into the clutch fork that the rod pushes against. With the car running the clutch pedal feels mushy. My question is, is there something else supposed to go into the clutch fork  to take the force of the rod pushing on it ?  :shruggy: thanks.

I figured someone would have posted before me, but there should be a large "washer" backing up that rubber part, between the adjusting nut and the rubber part you're describing. Or are you looking for one of these:
