Title: Help with OBD 1 "PCM" question?
Post by: b5blue on March 25, 2019, 10:45:51 PM
I've got a nice 92 T-Bird 3.8 V6 that is acting up a bit. Long story short I just want to know if I was to swap out PCM's with a known tested good one is any kind of reboot or program change required? I've located correct matching PCM I.D. number units and cross checked info. (X2S2 F2MF-12A650-JC)

I remember if the battery went dead in my '90 Supercoupe it had to relearn idle by itself....

Should be able to just plug it in and it will "learn".
