Should find what you need here:

dunno the year you are working on, but I guess This colored one I made for 73 could help to you. Colors are aprox the real ones ( missed the - lead of coil one being traced yellow )

Canadian, i did search first. Couldnt come up with what i need. That probably tells more about my search ability than the site haha.

Nacho,

It's a 68 charger.

Differences from your diagram, 4 wire ECU and ballast resistor with 2 posts instead of 4.

What changes?

Thanks so much,

Chris.

the only diff is the green ( traced red, althought not on diagram, forgot to get it traced too ) wire between ECU and secondary resistor ( high resistance ) on ballast will be going anywhere, since the 2 post ballast doesn't have it and the 4 pins ECU doesn't need it.

Nacho,

I do see a few differences for my (68) bulkhead connector..
Like the wire coming out with fusible link to starter relay for example

Of course, I'm saying just works as a guidance. You are asking for ECU and regulator wiring, and this will work just taking the parts of the diagram needed. Remember the electronic ignition system become standard in 73, optional on 72 and electronic regulator become standard on 70 so you won't find stock diagrams with ECU and electronic regulator for 68s

Yeah that's true Nacho, i think i can make it work with this diagram!

Thank you very much again!

If i'm confused about something later on, i'll get back here.

From your bulkhead you need just to follow blue Ign1 wire coming from cab to splice the rest of wiring on diagram. Rest of wires on ign and regulator system are not part of bulkhead conections but running to each function on engine harness out of the bulkhead

Need to note YOUR CAR will have a blue wire between ballast and + lead of coil ( spliced into the brown wire coming from cab ). On cars with electronic regulator since 70, this wire to coil become brown just like the one coming from cab, because the blue wire will be indicating now the field for the alt. However you can keep it just the way it is. You will be splicing all the new setup on the blue wire before the ballast which is Ign1 system.

The green wire originally feeding regulated positive from regulator to alt brush, will feed now regulated negative from regulator ( which takes from chassis ) once spliced into the right regulator conector.

I guess you got a dual field alt now, right?

I do have a dual field alternator.

I drew up my own diagram now,
I get what you say that the bulkhead is not really important in your diagram for me.

I'll try to get my drawing uploaded beneath here.

Cheers,
Chris.

Here what  i made

That is!

The splice can be done anywhere into the existant blue wire line, i just draw like factory made being solded down the harness tape.

Seen some videos and tried some.

Just sold the 5 together.
