thanks, i've actually put real wood over all of the fake wood areas that were done at the factory, i'm going to be stripping and redoing them though because the stain faded more than I wanted after it cured and I want to match closer to the reddish color of the steering wheel.

I liked the look you had on it before but how it's going to look in the future, that's totally bad-ass!!

oh and if you're not going to need those vector wheels, depending on their size, I'd gladly buy them!

re-zombie thread......quick update.

out at the shop last night, finished under carriage disassembly (k frame, rear end, springs, yadda yadda)

last piece to remove is the brake booster and then body work starts.

this is taking a lot longer than planned (when do they not?) lol

Tucking the front bumpers in should be pretty easy. I think you can just slot the bumper mounting holes and slide the bumper in. That's the way that we do the e-bodies. That's the way that I had planned to do it on my 74 Charger.
The easiset way to tuck in the rear bumper is to use the 71-72 style bumper brackets, but you can cut and alter the 73-74 brackets.

yep and the rears you just find 71-72 brackets and bolt them in.  easy to get to in the trunk.  I had to lose the fillers, and I went with painted bumpers body color:2thumbs:

thanks xpb!  im excited to get it done, but i've got a loooooong way to go.

everything has been disassembled now and I'm saving some money to get rear quarters from tabco.  engine is complete, trans is complete, multiple interior items complete.  I have a kit to rebuild the a/c box, so i'll be doing that next while i try to save some more for my quarters and a gas fed mig.

@41husk:  i actually had another member on here that was going to sell me the rear bumper brackets for a great price, but i was letting the wife send the payment and it never actually got sent, which i just found out about the other day when i was asking her if she had any idea when the brackets would be here.  :rotz:
