Title: Add youtube Charger restorations here
Post by: mopar4don on December 23, 2020, 09:19:23 AM
Hey everyone, I ran across this guy documenting his restoration of his 68 Charger on youtube and thought you might want to watch

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPi18bbiQPuS88ElVkXfkBQ

Anyway I thought he could use a little support from the Charger faithful... enjoy

And maybe the administrators could make this a sticky thread and others could add youtubers and there restorations?

To be accurate, Chris seems to stick to the mechanical aspects of Chargers without actually focusing on body and paintwork. To me, a "restoration" by definition is to return to an original condition. I absolutely respect his metal work and fabrication skills but I don't know if I have seen him do a complete a "restoration". That is not meant to be an insult. Some people don't care to do bodywork and paint to an OEM standard. I know that I don't.

I follow both those channels

I dread to think the cost of that first guy's restoration once it's all done

My 70 Road Runner convertible has been kicking my ass,but I'm feeling a lot better about the car after seeing that 68 Charger! He will become one with the AMD catalog!

I've done a couple done paint cars, not worth it. Metal work, fab and kick out the door. I like painting but I started subbing paint work out. Just can't get everything done fast enough being 1 guy

Another '68 being put back on the road after a few year hiatus. More of a driveable-storation at the moment I suppose. It's a multi-part series with 5 or 6 episodes in so far.

Hey guys!

Been a member for a long time, and had a charger being resto'd by me for years now. I wanted to share my YouTube channel with you guys, my charger isn't for everyone, I understand that. I didn't do it to make Mopar enthusiast mad, but I did choose a ford coyote motor for my 1970 charger.

Regardless of how she drives down the street, she's back on the road. So, I hope you guys have an open mind, check out the channel if you want. I do show how I got it to fit in there, using Reilly motorsports alterKtion kit for 1968-1970 b bodies. Quite impressive kit.

Everything about this Dodge Charger is Mopar, besides her engine an transmission.

Here is my channel. I just finished swapping a 6.4 hemi and 8-speed trans out of a 2018 challenger into my 1969 charger.
