if this is not 355101 (one of the cars that dan's family owned), i'm curious how this seller determined that his is the lowest vin?
355101 had a white interior last i knew. it appears the interior was changed back to the correct blue since then.
:drool5: :drool5: SWEET RIDE :drool5: :drool5: THAT MAKES ME WANT TO GET MINE DONE REALLY LIKING THE BLUE ON BLUE SHARP
B5 lover here, but hey,--------thats a lot of BLUE!!!
One beautiful Wingcar indeed!!! :2thumbs:

Yes a LOT of coin, a battery can easily be changed out, but for 279K, you'd think they'd have this car done to the "T"...wrong rims, battery as noted, hood pin lanyards, the PS pump looks to be a "modern" Saginaw version, cheap repro radiator (the cap clocking gives it away) wipers aren't parked evenly, and a few other detail oriented items here and there, no undercarriage shots though?...but again for that coin, and only a 440 car, it should be better IMHO
279,000 = not really for sale unless they get 2x what it's worth

And a painted wiper motor.
Saaaweeet looking car. If the owner can get that much out of it, more power to him!
Oh I like it....just not for that price
The pic that shows the bottom of the rear valance looks muddy. The one with trunk open shows a ton of sanding scum.
Where are you seeing those photos?.....I can only see the four in the link at the top of the page....no trunk or valence shots??? :shruggy:

the current seller says it's a fresh restoration, but the car was in great shape a few years ago, albeit with an incorrect interior color. these photos of the same car are from a prior ad a few year back

air cleaner was thankfully changed, along with some other under hood details.
looks like the fuel filler tube was also reworked
Just noticed a 70 K-member with a 69 sway bar?
Is that correct for Daytona's?
I had a blue on blue 70 Cuda and that was a lot of blue.
The Daytona is probably a bit too much blue even for me... :scratchchin:
Think I would have been OK without a blue console just a stick outta da floor. :o
Better than the white and black though... :-\
The woodgrain console top always looks outta place on a non-SE to me.
Thought it was the same car.
Liked the white interior better, even though incorrect. :Twocents:
Took off the wheel opening moldings?
Put the Charger emblem on the tail panel.
looks like they have fitted back up lamps now too :yesnod:
wonder where the w/o chrome ended up? the back up lamps are bizarre. did someone actually reproduce a valance without the cutouts?

68 Charger rear valance did not have the holes down there for reverse lights, the back up lights were up with the tail lights

ah yes, see what happens when one focuses on model year specifics. lol
Looked much better with white interior IMO. :Twocents:

Yes - and other late 1969 models as well (at least B-bodies anyway, not sure about A or C models). During that timeperiod, which envelops most if not all of the A12 production run too, the K-frames were essentially made from a '69 top half and a '70-style bottom half.
Nice one Geno!
Must remember that next time I clone a Daytona lol... :slap: :smilielol: :icon_smile_wink:
I suppose its ok to use a Plymouth-RR one too? :scratchchin:
Ernie your right that is one of my dads old cars. Was in Germany in the 70's as well
It looks like at some point, someone must have spray bombed the whole dash black...including the VIN tag?
