I installed one because of excessive Crankcase pressure on my 540.. No longer blowing the Dipstick or gaskets on repeated full throttle hits.. Great piece, wish I would have done it sooner.

I'm hooked on the Wolfbox mirror. Cameras front and rear. Clock, speed, compass. And the one touch power windows, and power doors and trunk are the best.  I'm doing this to all of my cars for sure.

I drove it to work today and took a 2 hour round trip after. I stopped once for gas and 5 people complimented the car and asked questions. I do enjoy that. The damn thing needs more gears though!

Haha yes that would look weird. The gas shocks I had did add to the overall height, no question. I wonder if the current shocks are set too soft and the weight of the car is compressing them. I'm working on carpeting the trunk, and when I step into it the car actually goes down, which it didn't do with the gas shocks. I'll stiffen them up a bit and see what happens. I'll measure the arch of my springs as well. Maybe I do need to swap them.

Shocks aren't really supposed to be influencing ride height.  Some shocks have an effect because of internal gas pressure but it's more of an incidental thing.  Shocks are supposed to just dampen the movement.

The exception would be old-school air shocks (the ones with air hoses to pump them up).  But you didn't start with those.  And they don't belong on old Mopars anyway, because the rear shock crossmember isn't strong enough to put the vehicle weight on it.

The usual ghetto way of raising the rearend without new leaf springs (or extra helper leafs) is to use longer spring shackles in back.  But that's only good for small gains.  You have to add over 2 inches of shackle length for every 1 inch of taller ride height.  It gets goofy fast.

Taxspeaker,

I really enjoyed your video!!!

The pictures from under the front subframe told a lot more than you brief description. Plus your comments about the front fenders and hood. Missing A pillar chrome.

At a big auction these things would have been noticed by many. At a small auction really "buyer beware."

QuoteYeah, meeting people can be great.
Sometimes, it can be LESS than great. We all have dealt with the guy that had one just like it but it was orange, and a four door but also a Ford.

You know that guy too? The one who had the '68 Challenger with the 427 Hemi?
