Title: clearance from SB-BB ?
Post by: 69bananabeast on August 01, 2005, 02:41:58 AM
are there and mods need to be made when switching from a SB to a BB  ??? it seems like the headers (sp?) are already tight as it is with a 318 . It also seems like their wouldnt be that much room for the gear box. Im thinking that most likely I will have to get two electric fans because as of now the bolts for the fan have about and inch of clearance or less from the radiator.

there is lots of room for either engine , poorly made headers are tight though

I picked up a pair om 1 7/8   Hooker headers . Do you know if those will be a problem ? also they are going on a pair of indy heads.

I often have problems with Hooker headers , also the indy heads May raise the headers up depending which heads you have
