Title: Correct 69 RT 440 AC hose fitting images
Post by: Sixt8Chrgr on October 06, 2017, 08:17:41 AM
Can some one post up the above? I am having to install the correct connections on the hoses. Shop is telling me he will have to brazen which will remove the gold zinc off the end of the hose/fitting. Specifically the hose connected to the muffler. I looked for a muffler/hose replacement and found none so going this route.

Thanks

I not aware of anyone making  the so called correct hose ends.

That said. Look here . Its my understanding  he used mostly NOS or redone original pieces to restore this car

There's a difference between hose repair/rebuilding and hose restoration. Most local shops can rebuild the hoses so they function but restoration shops can also duplicate the original finish.

Thanks guys. Probably just best to buy new hoses for the car.
